JK, I have no idea.
Some things just don’t make sense, like the photo of me above. I have no idea what’s on my head or why I have a black eye on my birthday. I also have no clue how one of my Medium stories, “Pregnant Texan Registers as Corporation So Government Can’t Regulate Her,” hit 40K views (and counting) when most of my tales fail to even reach 50.
It even infiltrated the front page of Imgur and garnered more than 100K views over there. I don’t even have an Imgur account and would have never known my story was blowing up on that site if a former co-worker hadn’t hit me up on LinkedIn.
If you’re like me, you have read every “5 Easy Ways You Can Make $10 Million Dollars, Get 1 Million Followers, and Have Sex With Anyone You Want (Consensually) While Sitting on Your Couch in Your Underwear Eating Leftover Pizza” type of story under the sun, hoping one of them finally works. Have any of them actually come through for you? If so, please send them my way. Seriously. I will never stop reading those.
So here is the 40K view question: how did I make that happen? In reality, I have no f***ing clue.
